This delicious side dish is naturally vegan and gluten-free. If you’re a fan of sweet potato fries, you’re going to love these crispy air fryer carrot fries! The air fryer works by circulating hot air which causes the exterior of the food to crisp up whilst keeping the inside tender. This is why air fryer recipes are always so crispy all over. I love preparing all sorts of air fryer vegetable recipes whether its air fryer zucchini fries, air fryer breaded mushrooms, air fryer avocado fries or air fryer cauliflower.

How to make Carrot Fries in Air Fryer
Peel then wash the carrots under running water. Slice the carrots into fries on a cutting board. Depending on the size of your carrots, Go for carrot sticks that are around 1 cm in thickness Place carrots in a large bowl. Add the oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the carrot sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer – a little overlap is fine as the carrots will quickly shrink as they cook Air Fry at 190 C or 380 degrees f for 10 minutes or until tender inside and just crispy outside. Repeat with the next batch if required. Serve immediately.
Pro Tips
Use fresh carrots for the best results. Regular carrots work better than baby carrots Slice the carrots in equal sizes to ensure they cook evenly For crispier fries, you could sprinkle the carrots with cornstarch or rice flour when mixing with the oil and seasoning. Cooking time may vary based upon the thickness of your carrots fries and air fryer model
