A typical Gujarati dinner consists of a bread, curry, dal or kadhi with plain rice. Majority of these recipes are quick and simple and are easy to make on a busy weekday. On special occasions, you may be served a traditional Gujarati Thali which also includes farsan and a sweet dish. To end the meal, cheese one of these Gujarati sweets recipes. To put together a Gujarati Menu, choose a shaak (curry), bread, a dal/kadhi, rice and a pickle.
